Temperate Springtail Culture in Soil Bark Substrate

Temperate springtail culture that comes established in a soil, bark, charcoal substrate that is ready to be added to your terrarium or vivarium. This tiny but mighty clean up crew will take care of any mold, waste or fungus that may occur in your terrarium. They are very beneficial to any little ecosystem you may have created, feeding on decaying organic material in the soil and recycling it for you. They produce essentials such as fertilizer and carbon dioxide for your plants. They need very damp conditions to survive, so they’re perfect for a humid terrarium!
Note: Adult springtails might die in shipping, so please give your culture a week or two for eggs to hatch and grow.
