Description
Dypsis lutescens is like most other palms in the sense that they require some confidence in your green thumb. They tend to thrive in an environment that has high humidity. It desires moisture in general, keeping the soil somewhat moist. They enjoy growing in a bright spot without excess amounts of direct sunlight. Keep in mind that the higher your light conditions, and warmer your temperatures, your palm will need to be watered more frequently. Despite its love for moisture, watering your plant too much or too often can swiftly bring its life to an end. Ensure that you at least let the surface of the soil dry out before watering again.
Non-toxic, pet friendly.
